Job Market

The EEA supports the job market for economists in the following ways:

European Job Market

In 2018, the EEA launched the European Job Market (EJME), which takes place towards the end of December. Since 2019, the EJME is co-organised with the Royal Economic Society and Spanish Economic Association

Jobs for Economists in Europe Hub

In early March, 2022, the EEA launched Jobs for Economists in Europe Hub (JEEH) to promote equality of access to academic opportunities in Europe. The Hub hosts openings for pre-docs & post-docs with a minimum duration of 9 months. During the ongoing war in Eastern Europe, JEEH can be used to post temporary positions for displaced academics.
