Welcome to the EEA 2025 Scientific Council elections. You are asked to vote for EEA Vice-President and EEA Council.
Voting takes place from Monday, September 23, to Sunday, October 20.
Only EEA members with active memberships can vote. Each member can submit 1 ballot sheet.

Georg Weizsäcker studied in Germany for his diploma and in the US for his PHD, took his first academic job in the UK, and currently serves as professor of microeconomics in Berlin. His research lies in different areas of behavioral economics, with an emphasis on the analysis and measurement of beliefs. He wrote a book on misunderstandings. He is or was active in many different roles in junior career programs, is Co-spokesperson of the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center “Rationality and Competition”, acted as chairperson of the German Economic Association (Verein für Socialpolitik), and is on the scientific advisory board of a German federal ministry.
