We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Economics group at NYU Abu Dhabi. Candidates should have or soon receive a PhD in Economics. The appointment starts September 1, 2025, for three academic years, pending budget approval. The associate will spend 50% of their time on independent research and 50% on collaborative projects with Professors Jean Imbs and Laurent Pauwels. Candidates should specialize in international macroeconomics and trade, with expertise in trade models and experience handling large datasets and coding simulations. Teaching is not required but possible for compensation. The division includes over 20 post-doctoral fellows and 70 faculty. The terms are competitive, including housing and educational subsidies.
